Lake Forest Festival & Fireworks
Due to the shooting in Highland Park, the Annual Lake Forest Festival and Fireworks at Deerpath Community Park has been cancelled out of an abundance of caution.
Tickets purchased online will be refunded.
In addition, Forest Park Beach will be closed for the remainder of the day today, July 4.
The Parks and Recreation Department and Friends of Lake Forest Parks and Recreation Foundation extends its deepest condolences to our neighbors in Highland Park.
